We have discussed SM here in the Batcave in the past, and we have issues
with the material.
There is erotica, and there is pornography. The line between them is not
well defined, but we think some of the SM sets might be over the line,
and that's not a place we want to go.
Some of the sets show young girls smoking cigarettes and drinking
alcohol.
This is not something the Crime Fighters would ever condone. We think
inducing young girls to pose nude by giving them tobacco and alcohol is
disgraceful.
Some of the sets show sex acts. Our policy in the Batcave is to never
post anything that could be considered hardcore.
We know law enforcement organisations monitor usenet, and we don't wish
to antagonize them.
Everything we've posted has already been posted by someone else. The
material we've posted has been circulating freely for many years.
Law enforcement knows this, and we think that's why they have left us
alone.
We are not saying we will never post Siberian Mouse material again, but
we will think carefully about it if we decide to do so.
