Fairly sure that when you upload via cable, you are the only one who's
uploading, at the moment, in the local group of subscribers. Automatic
upload scheduling times are apparently managed to the microsecond or so.

Fwiw, around eastern New England, Comcast has a horrid reputation among
some techies. I s.t.r. that Wired mag. had an article about its CEO some
months back.
