A trial judge in Orange County, California since 1983, James P. Gray, was the
2012 Libertarian candidate for Vice President. In the first half, he discussed
how government is all about money and the various ways that personal freedoms
are being sold-out to vested interests. He shared updates on drug legalization
and de-criminalization, education reform, flat tax proposals, and health care.
Regarding drugs, people should be held accountable for their actions, he said,
but not treated as a criminal just because of the substances they put in their
bodies. "To put people...that stumble into these addictions into jail or fear of
the criminal justice system is inhumane and simply flat out wrong," he declared.
He advocated for a simplified flat tax, such as no one pays tax on their first
$30,000 of income, and then everyone pays 10 cents on each dollar after that.
Instead of welfare programs, Gray suggested a "safety net" in which the poor
would receive $15,000 a year, and "then, if they would earn a dollar, they would
lose 50 cents of that stipend all the way up to to $30,000, so they'd always
have the incentive to earn the extra money." Regarding health care, he proposed
that vouchers could be given to those in need, which could be used in the
private sector, rather than the government. Many government programs don't work,
and have no penalties when they fail, he added.

Author and researcher, Mary A. Joyce, is the editor of the Sky Ships over
Cashiers website which features cutting-edge and unusual topics. She detailed
her work investigating a variety of anomalous phenomena in her home state of
North Carolina. This includes underground military bases located near well-known
tourist attractions in the state, yet, so well camouflaged that few people know
they exist. According to a source she interviewed, a city-sized secret base that
is totally self-sufficient, is located underneath PARI, an astronomical
education and research center, located about an hour from Asheville.
A number of North Carolina mountains such as Whiteside seem to be magnets for
UFO sightings, and there have been Bigfoot reports in some of the same areas,
she noted. Joyce also shared her research into the Cherokee 'Little People.'
After WWII, a digging and expansion project began at what is now Western
Carolina University, and "they found networks of little tunnels" square cut in
red clay, as well as small skeletons, though it seems to Joyce that there's been
an effort by the University to cover-up these findings. Reportedly, the
university also has two giant skeletons stored away, each with six toes.
