Bob is one of the very best blues music players today and here he has
collected many of his favorite musicians. In addition to super harmonics, Bob
is also a producer, band leader and organizer on this album. Sugaray
Rayford's fine song on "The Glide", a slow shuffle, is carried by Bob and Jr.
Watson's guitar. "Fork on the road", a slow blues in Jimmy Reed's spirit with a
blues with a nice song by Alabama Mike and the emotional mouthpiece of Bob
and fine guitar play by Big Jon Atkinson. Concluding "Thundering and raining"
is another nice slow blues that is carried by Tail Dragger's fine song. In
addition to the above, Willie Buck, Bill "Howl-N-Madd" contributes Perry,
George Bowman, Henry Gray, Bob Welch. Rockin 'Johnny and Bob Stroger
make this plate one of the better ones to take care of the classic 1950s blues
and let it live on.
