For fans of sugar sweet female vocals and lovely melodies. Estelle has a unique singing voice, not unlike Aurora Aksnes, or Lauren Mayberry from Chvrches. Brittle Stars are from Gainesville, Florida, USA and were active 1998-2001.
This is an unofficial compilation. All tracks from their two albums are here arranged in the same order.
Before the Brittle Stars, there was Crush 22. One EP was released and one song off that fits here- Wrapped Around.
Occasional Appearance has an alternate ending created by me- just looping the refrain and fading it out. I don't know what they were thinking with the album version... the crazy loud drums ending such a lovely song.
After Brittle Stars, Estelle created Elephant Parade. One song is especially Brittle Stars like so I included it- Grand Opening.
All CD files first ripped with Exact Audio Copy secure mode to flac-cue. Then ripped that with EAC to files. The CDs have no scratches and the only error is with the Crush 22 CD-R (not audible). The Crush 22 track is from a purchased EP CD-R (limited run) directly from the record label. I ripped it the day I got it. Grand Opening is from a digital download (Bandcamp)
