I'm surprised people convert SACD to FLAC sampled at 176.4 kHz when
88.2 kHz is the equivalent PCM sampling rate for DSD64, which is the
DSD format used on SACDs. DSD128 is sampled at 176.4 kHz. So convert
to 88.2 kHz, not 96 kHz, although you may not notice a difference if
you have a 30 to 50 kHz filter to get rid of the SACD noise bump that
exists beyond 20 kHz. You may not be able to hear the noise, but your
amplifier and speakers will know it's there. Check the spectrum with
Audacity.
