Yeah... it takes all kinds I suppose.
He seems to think that we all have high-end, expensive home systems
(which I do) or doodads to play these files when away from home (I
don't). He totally disregards the fact that the remastering alone makes
these worth grabbing for the uptick in mastering/production and sonic
quality that's still evident even re-encoded to MP3s.
I still don't get why he even cares in the first place! He's deemed us
unworthy to even visit the 24-bit group much less [gasp!] have the
audacity to actually download his precious files. It's like we're
committing some sort of sacrilege by daring to use the files as we see
fit, especially since he didn't buy the CDs or rip most of them in the
first place. "Here's $100 for you. It's right here where you can get it
easily. You can only spend it on what I tell you though." Jerk.
