blazing saddle-sores,
The signature of MS Paint is a string of
22222222222222222222222222222222's in the header.
Looking closer, I see the reason for failing my checks are several. Some
of the files have a terminal linefeed. Some show indications of having
been through MS Paint. I must have seen only those in a quick manual
sample of the headers. Others show generic headers only, nothing
indicative of LS Studio, which caused them to fail my checking app.
Addendum:
After cleaning the junk from the end of the Chara-03 images, I now have
27 additional files passing all checks for a total of 29 good Chara-03
images. Adding in the one (on-site?) corrupt file brings the total to 30
images I can add into the on-going csv.
The remaining 69 images I have are obvious fakes, but only some of them
have been through MS Paint. Thanks for drawing my attention to this set.
I was so busy trying to get hfa a csv I forgot to go back and clean the
junk from that one problem set.
