IMO 100 is not needed. Even with my finest spectacles 16Mpx does it
for me. I do not have a screen >43" in the house. Although it is
relatively new and has UHD/HDR ability (Deadpool and Gardians of the
Galaxy look spectacular on it).
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
Having said that, the set was lovely.
