Well, as you say, I'm afraid people will had to deal with it, its the
limits of the image management tool I like to use. I would like the
counter to reset when traversing directories too, I have actually
requested that feature from the tools authors.
I'm not using a different image management tool, or for that matter a
seperate tool for generating contact sheets.
