Thanks for the scan.
I did some research on when Annual 7 was published and looked at Giant
Series (and regular size but only GS had the indica on the IFC) from
the two possible periods — GCD and CBDB conficted on beginning of 1959
or end 1959/beginning 1960. Also looked at AGB&V Annuals 6 & 8 for
clues.
I thought it should might have been have been published by Archie
Publications rather than Close Up but only the Close Up text from
Annual 8 matched (with some reflow) the remaining text's alignment from
the damaged page.
Luckily the KG5 portion of the coupon was intact so I could reuse it on
a complete IFC from another issue.
The indica took much longer the entire rest of the page. Sized to match
your scan as closely as possible. And mostly match color levels.
So in summary — "maximum effort" but not 100% sure.
Side note: The wife did get one bday present from me early — a bunch of
Archie comics that she had never read (mostly 12¢ and 25¢ era, so
pretty cool). She read them in one night, so now I can add them to my
"get around to scan" pile. :)
