My best guess is that there are multiple sources, and some hit the
torrents before the Internet, and vice-versa.
The Archies are a bit of a mess. For the Archie Comics digital versions
we had before, these appear to be the same but are not labeled "HD" and
the files are smaller (but still too large, in my opinion). The page
counts are identical.
For 61, the file includes a slightly better FC and an IFC, only tacked
on at the end. I took those two pages and updated my copy of my scans,
which I prefer over the digital versions because they are so washed out
that they look as if they were colored with pastels.
For myself, I'm considering them as place-holders. Most of them don't
have IFC, either. I'll post them, probably tomorrow, but there's not
much there to get excited about.
I downloaded only one of the later Archie digitals just to get a look
at it. As expected, it was too big, missing the usual non-story pages,
and pretty washed out. Disappointing. I don't know whether I'll even
grab the bunch (46 comics!). If I do, I'll post them as well.
