Readme-file for "Milane"
Dear readers,
A small series, my first project in color besides the jpp-fk's. I'll post 39 pictures over a two-week period.
These pictures are from a book "Milane" and belong to a story about a Hungarian gypsy boy named Milane Petrovich. Thanks to the photographer Robert Vavra, this boy got an education which he otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Vavra motivated the boy to learn how to paint and he eventually became a painter whom even had a successful exhibition in San Francisco. This book was published in the Netherlands in 1969 as a book for children and sent to me by a Dutch visitor of a.b.p.b. I did only scan the photos with the boy. I hope you like this book as much as I do; it's different from what I usually do but very refreshing.
