I love The Fort and will never abandon it. But I don't think it is appropriate to flood it with old stuff.
I am sick of the constant group-switching, and attempts at encryption. These tactics are futile! If you are afraid to post something openly, then you shouldn't post it!
alt.binaries.pictures.boys is where it all began. It is now abandoned. We should take it back, first by flooding it with the old stuff. That's where we got the old stuff in the first place. It's probably the first place the nubes look. And it seems right that nubes should find the same classics there that we found there. It is a reminder of more innocent times.
REQUEST: Flood of complete JPP sets posted to a.b.p.boys. I have bits and pieces, but almost no complete sets. This is the stuff that should be available to everyone, but isn't even available on Johnny's site any more. If anyone needs an anonymous posting account, I have accumulated a small hoard of them that I would be happy to share.
The Fort was founded as both a stealth binaries group and a stealth boy-pictures group. Those reasons no longer exist. Now the Fort's reason for existence is the community that has developed around it.
alt.fan.prettyboy and alt.binaries.pictures.boys are both on Andrew Cuomo's list of banned newsgroups, along with our text-only group alt.support.boy-lovers. That's why so many ISP's no longer carry them. Even Easynews abandoned us. Maybe instead of constantly switching groups, we should instead be switching news-server providers. Let's vote with our feet, and with our credit card recurring subscriptions, and dump the news-service providers who have dumped our groups!
