I assume the probelm with the sound and vlc is related to editing and
converting the excerpt in Virtualdub. It was not a problem with Gom
which is what I mainly use (except for mkvs with inbuilt subs).

For this segment though don't worry about not being able to translate
it accurately. Sometimes it is just not possible to translate slang. A
good example is "couille molle" the insults which starts the war of
the buttons.
