You can easily find several versions of this on binsearch.
Just before SKIE closed theriot posted English subs. He had spent over 8 hours translating them from French hearing impaired subs (I had only been able to find Dutch and Russian ones.) They are extremely adequate. The biggest problem with both this movie and the 1962 original version is that there is no adequate translation of the insult which starts the war.
"couille molle" which literally translates as "soft balls" was used in the original (which by the way has just been re-released as a bluray and versions can also be easily found.) "Slap cock" is used in this one.
The other problem is that the mkv versions posted have a frame rate of 24 fps instead of the 25 fps of the original.
I am posting three versions of the srt subs.
1: lngdb - thriots original
2: lngdb_24fps for 24 fps vids
3: lngdb_25fps for 25 fps vids and dvds
I have run the last two through Subtitle Edit and/or SubMagic to change the frame rate and/or optimise them.
