I don't think Wild America fits either of Anatol's recollections.

I can certainly recommend Astraweb, I usually buy the 180 gig for $25.
In the 2 years or so I have been using it there have only been 2 or 3
"bad" days and the problem I had with the Danish downloads (more than
one group). Retention and completion are generally fantastic. The only
problem with Usenetserver (which it suits me to use as well at
present) is that you can't download old headers for the older posts
they still have stored.
