I took the recent step of trying to make sure every post had a
different header after(I think) your statement about them being
unorganizable/clusterfucked.
I looked into it and I too couldn't group them into Subject.
We found a weak link in Forte Agent. I see you're using the same
version as I. You should hereon be able to sort by status, lines,
subject, unread messages, author, and date. All you have to do is
click on the boxes labeled as such.
When I first started using this newer version I was afraid of
setting it up wrong and wanted the text and colors to be readable and
useful. Maybe you have a different set-up? I'll send a pic of my
layout with this message. Anyway, even I couldn't get it to present
itself the way the old Agent would. I liked that after you read a
message it would appear in the color green. I never could figure that
one out. The "Folders" and "Desks" labeling make little sense to me.
My point is that there are many ways you can get Agent to
present itself to you. As to running four PowerPosts at a time? Well,
I have a lot to post and want to multitask at the same time. It ain't
all pRon for me. In earlmiller, when I want to sort out mine and
others posts, I usually sort by author. I usually prefer sorting by
date though. Sorting by subject comes in handy there too.
Look at my layout and let me know if yours is similar. Maybe
you haven't tried to sort yet?
