We all collect for different reasons, some collect every note no matter what the quality, others only collect the best quality captures. If you fall into the latter category then November 1984 is collector's paradise. This fifth month of the Born In The USA Tour features high quality captures of show after show.
The show from Ames, Iowa is not only one a tremendous capture but one of the best shows of the tour, featuring the world premier of "Sugarland" only played live twice.
For the purists out there I've included two versions of "Jungleland", the only flaw to an otherwise gorgeous capture. Missing the first two and a half minutes on the original, I've included a patched version using an alternate capture and an un-patched version since the quality of the alternate capture is a couple of notches below this one.
This show has circulated for some time on CDR as "Ames Night", I hope this 1st Generation upgrade does it justice and will elicit many repeated listenings.
