Glad we got you there, sort of.
I had this happen to me with Agent 2 and 3. It was caused by the
combination of a poster I was downloading and a corrupt group index
file. You might try
1. While in floder abmea, go to "all messages" (mouse over the subject
line, right click, select all messages)
2. Remove (from the top) any botched or jumbled messages - these are
the ones that line size but no subject or anything else, date but
nothing else, etc.
3.Compress the folder - while still in abmea, Folder, Properties, When
to Purge. I'm attaching my settings as an example labeled Agent 1. I
also have attached my What to P:urge window. Despite the appearance of
"Override default settings " these are my standard settings. Then I go
to discussion groups and alter the settings to retain all.
This steps might help you to recover the orginal abmea. They will
certainly improve Agents rotten ability with large header counts.
