Another CD from ...let's say a rare choir but still active.
The St Martin's Boys' Choir Biberach is a classical Boys Choir in the
tradition of "Pueri Cantores"(Singing youth). Founded in 1962 they are
funded by the Catholic Parish of St Martin and Maria in Biberach.
The repertory covers all the periods in musical history. As a rule they
would sing a cappella, i.e. unaccompanied.
At the present time the choir has 90 members aged between 5 and 25. The
choirmaster is Johannes Striegel.
