This rounds out my collection nicely, even if it's the second worst
Stephen King "adaptation" in history (top "honour" of course going to
The Lawnmower Man, which was so bad King sued to have his name removed
from anything to do with the project). HIA isn't that bad, and even if
it does have nothing to do with the eponymous story in the collection
by that name, and thoroughly mangles the stories it claims to draw
The collection (while not represented by the movie) is a well-written
treatise on Vietnam that could have well been entitled "We Like to
Watch." If you've read it, you get it. If you haven't read the book,
no explanation is possible.
On its own, it's a nice movie and I appreciate the post. Much better
quality than the P5 going around a few years ago. (not only was it
If they ever do an adaptation of Hearts in Atlantis (the actual story)
on who's dealing). Again, if you've read it, you get it.
