I have been posting books for nearly two decades now, under various
nyms, and find today that there are more books being posted than ever
before.
many thanks to all the regulars that keep the scene alive, you know
who you are.
while it is true many groups have gone or have been choked by spam,
usenet is far from dead see the traffic in multimedia groups like
a.b.tv a.b.teevee, boneless, town, etc......
fiters can go someway to keep the spammers at bay, and the work of
finding items of interest can be made easier by indexing sites like

if $30 per month is the problem then why not try a cheaper option or
a block account see .....

despite dmca takedowns usenet struggles on and will only die when we
all give up on it, so hang on in there as it is not quite the end for
us all yet.
