EAX, and others,
Kallisti, a.k.a. (Eleutherios), is finally releasing Natural Angels on
eMule. Right now, only a few chunks have gotten out, but one does
contain the sfv. It is attached. You will notice the missing image
from set 101, and its thumbnail, are part of the package.
This will be agonizing as Kallisti only allows a few blocks loose at a
time so that they will have time to propogate to all downloaders.
However, if the chunk containing our missing files gets out, we can grab
it from the on-going download.
I'm sure you know how to ferret out individual files from a partial
eMule download. For those who may not, here's how it's done.
Snagging files from an incomplete eMule archive
===============================================
1. In eMule's transfer window, hover the mouse over the file of interest
to see its part file name in the pop-up. In this example it turns out
to be "003.part.met".
2. The met file is really the index to the download. You want the part
file. Browse to the eMule temp folder and copy, in this example,
003.part, and paste it into another folder. This can take several
minutes if the very last chunk is present and the archive is a huge one.
3. Rename the copied file to give it its true extension. In this
example, 003.part.rar
4. Open WinRAR, browse to & highlight 003.part.rar. Then right-click
and choose repair archive. This too, can take several minutes if the
archive is large and the last chunk is present in the download.
5. The file you get, rebuilt.003.part.rar, will be only as large as the
files that have come in so far. Double-click "rebuilt.003.part.rar" and
browse its contents. If something you want is in there, you can copy &
paste it into a folder.
6. Do this over and over until the particular image you want has come
in. EMule shares chunks in a random manner and one cannot predict which
will come in next. That's all there is to it!
