I seldom (if ever) post here, but having been at usenet for several
years now, I must state I agree completely with Jimmy regarding this
issue.
As far as trolls go, they generally have two main interests. First,
they wish to draw attention to themselves through harrassment. Second,
and perhaps more gratifying to a diligent troll, is to disrupt and
cause members of any given group to begin squabbling among themselves
... threatening to cease posting, etcetera ... something that the
troll himself cannot do without the unwitting aid of others.
I see that this particular fellow has managed both, has he not? May
the more introspective and cool heads prevail.
