I think it's truly important to remember that there are people
(worthless usenet trolls excluded) who genuinely care about the
well-being of children and who also have the capacity to communicate
with (not merely shout at) people whom they believe are a danger to
children. These people are many-numbered and are generally
good-natured. It should also be remembered that it is mainly because
of the stereotypes and gross generalizations perpetuated by
sensationalism and ratings-driven media, including rank-seeking,
politically-aspiring LEA "experts" who dress sharply and get PEDICURED
before they make their TV appearances, that even these well-meaning and
warm-hearted people mostly believe that anyone who views certain forms
of porn (like bestiality, kp, or hurtcore) are all driven by an
insatiable desire to act out fantasies which are harmful to others,
including children. Many, if not most, of these people believe, as
some usenet trolls do, that viewing a recording of an action is no
different from participating in it, that indeed it is just a matter of
time before they actually do participate in it, as if they have some
kind of ticking time bomb inside. Keep in mind, that their belief ONLY
applies to certain forms of pornography, not all media and, strangely
not all pornography either. They would never, for example, suggest
that viewers of Batman, Death Wish, or Dexter are vigilantes in
waiting, on an escalating build-up to taking the law into their own
hands, even with deadly intent. Neither would they suggest that people
who enjoy watching NASCAR, professional sports, or Dirty Jobs are prone
to uncontrollable impulses to drive cars around tracks at 200MPH,
inject themselves with steroids to be able to dunk basketballs, hit
grand slams, or score record numbers of touchdowns, or scrape the
inside of a vat used to produce artificial fertilizer while wearing a
rubber suit and SCUBA gear for $10/hour.
Many people who at one time used to genuinely care about children get
caught up in what could only be characterized as a CRUSADE against all
who would be even curious to see a child engaged in some form of sexual
act or even nudity. Their main trouble is (and it is a trouble that we
must all feel compassionate about, as well as wary of) that they have
gone from keeping the well-being of children as their focus to making
their focus the vilification and persecution of people they perceive as
a threat to children, even if it is at the expense of the well-being of
children. This fact is evidenced by the listing of young children who
perform sexually (often alone) on webcams as "producers of child porn"
and are incarcerated and/or placed on sex offender databases FOR LIFE.
Even kids who MURDER OTHER KIDS have their criminal records expunged at
18 or 21, depending on the state/country. But innocent young
exhibitionists, engaged in a 21st century version of "show me yours and
I'll show you mine" have been the wholly improper targets of these
mindless crusaders.
This is in no way to say that there aren't REAL dangers in the world
from which children should be protected, if possible. But we are faced
with a culture that fears to do the one thing that could TRULY prevent
sexual abuse from doing more harm than it does now, which is to ARM
CHILDREN WITH KNOWLEDGE rather than try to place them behind an
impossible to construct shield. The crusaders are blinded by their
perverted mission, perverted from child-welfare advocacy to perceived
threat persecution, and have already become their own worst enemy.
Interviews with thousands of convicted child molesters (not victims of
persecution who had consensual sex, but real PREDATORS) reveal that the
#1 ally the perpetrators had was not the child's fear of violence to
themselves or loved ones, not the promise of candy or a desired toy,
and not even the threat that by revealing their acts the child would be
blamed (all of which are the ONLY tricks the ignorant mass media
portrays) but was instead the IGNORANCE, the NIAVETEE, the lack of
sexual knowledge and social attitudes about it that helped them
persuade their victims to participate without telling. Which child do
you think is more susceptible to the advances of a real child predator
and the damages feared by the crusaders, a church-going sheltered boy
who gets spanked for saying “gosh darnit” because it's only a
substitute for “God Damn It!” and uses the words “pee-pee” or “wee-wee”
instead of “penis”, or a street-wise city boy who attends a public
school where sex ed includes demonstrations of the proper use of
condoms on life-like models and where they are dispensed free-of-charge
by the school nurse? The city kid might actually oblige a grown man
sexually, but at least he''l know what he's doing and it won't disturb
his sense of self.
But the problems created by a puritanical authoritarian culture rapidly
supplanted by the commercial media hurricane children are subjected to
(the worst child exploitation ever) is creating a most interesting and
ironic by-product.
Children are starting to create their own porn, not merely alone in
their rooms but with multiple partners, and are posting the products
online, trading with friends, and are doing so as a short-cut to the
exalted goal promoted by all of mass media: FAME and its by-product,
instant wealth. The way I see it, we will soon see an inevitable
increase of child-produced child porn, of increasing "quality" in terms
of the 3D and HD equipment used and "intensity" in terms of the daring
they show in new and kinkier sex acts. All of this will create a new
cultural norm, much like piercings and tattoos are losing their
socially isolating effects. Kids who star in their own porn or nudist
productions, like Vladik from Azov who made hardcore shortly after
turning 18, will have a huge following and will make millions of
dollars. This will happen for a number a reasons. Kids love to do
things they are told are forbidden and "bad". Kids love the idea of
being rich and famous (thank you Miley C. and Justin B.) and are
increasingly cavalier about what they need to do to become famous
(thank you Paris H., Cardashians, and cast of nearly every reality TV
show). Kids will soon be free of the absurd laws that make criminals
out of them for posing nude or even performing sex on camera. The
backlash of parents in these cases has seen to that. They will get
FAMOUS from porn BEFORE they turn 18, then make money off their legal
porn afterward. The business model is nearly flawless, except for the
possible damage to society.
As I said, the crusaders are their own worst enemy and the culture that
supports their often vigilante (perverted?) justice will support the
social decline I just illustrated. The fact is, what could save this
culture and what could return the crusaders back into worthwhile
advocates for child safety and welfare are steps that their particular
perversion makes nearly impossible. They cannot reconcile their hatred
for child-attracted adults with the very real need for compassionate
outreach and acceptance, which would bring most child rape and the
majority of even consensual adult-child sex to a virtual stand-still
compared to the secretive, underground, black-market styled INDUSTRY
that is it today.
The simple fact that these caring, loving, concerned citizens are
completely delusional, and have no idea how completely off-base they
are about porn and how likely or unlikely it makes a person to mimic
the things they see in it, has nothing to do with why we should be
concerned with the presence of usenet trolls in this group. No truly
caring and compassionate person spends their time taunting and vainly
trying to intimidate people they think are evil. The reason it should
concern us is that they SHARE their delusion with a MAJORITY of the
public and the worst of these trolls have more moral support than the
best of the advocates for more reasonable and compassionate treatment
of child-attracted adults. I have chatted or exchanged e-mails with
hundreds of people who frequent these groups and MOST of them would
NEVER do anything to harm a child. And when I say "harm", I include
the "devastating lifetime damage" that has been clinically proven NOT
TO OCCUR in consensual sexual encounters but is MYTHOLOGIZED to exist
by people who care more about their delusions than they do the children
they purport to care about. Even the CHANCE that the shit storm of
"victim"-blaming, interrogation room and courtroom crucifixions, and
innuendo that is the true cause of the "lifetime damage" of those
involved in consensual adult-child sex is enough to keep the vast
majority of frequenters of these groups 100% ABSTINANT of that nagging
desire.
How long ago was it that a woman who was not a virgin before marriage
was called "spoiled goods" or how many backward Muslim countries to
this day would rather STONE a woman to death after having sex with a
man outside marriage than let her live in their house? Is there no
parallel to be drawn between the mistreatment of women in this regard
and the "scarred for life" myth that persists in our culture about
children who have sex...with ANYONE...but especially with an adult who
cares about them? Even though I am ultimately NOT an advocate for most
forms of sex between children and adults (mainly because of power
differentials inherent in our primitive culture) I would rather see a
happy child, forced to come to grips with the end of a relationship, or
at least one aspect of it, because it is not socially accepted than I
would a child BRUTALIZED by the process of abrupt re-socialization and
reprogramming forced on children in such relationships so that they
have an equal resentment and hatred for the world's current preferred
scapegoat for Hell's Fire: the child-attracted adult. One need only
read the hate-filled reactions to the videos on Youtube posted by kids
who say they aren't afraid of "pedos" and have actually made friends
with some to see how much more "in hate" with child-attracted adults
this society is than "in love" with the true innocence of childhood.
True innocence, if it is true innocence, is present in a child long
after their first sexual experience, whether it is with another child
(as in most cases) or with an adult. But since the crusaders, like the
Taliban, the Mullahs in Iran, and the so-called Moral Majority in the
U.S. are still able to fool people into thinking that even though their
real motivation is hatred, not love as their "God" demands, THEY, and
not the individual minds of each citizen, are the purveyors of moral
truth and should be heeded above all reason.
What I would love to see this pathetic society do, once and for all, is
start a campaign of appeals directly to those whom they fear the most,
even more than terrorists and murderers. How refreshing would it be to
see a PSA on TV or a billboard campaign with the slogan: "If people
can abstain from cigarettes, alcohol, or narcotics for the well-being
of themselves and their families, then they can abstain from the urge
to have sex with minors."
I see movies and TV shows all the time where people are shown doing
things that I wish I could do with impunity. Whether its robbing a
bank, blowing up the credit agencies' headquarters, or viciously
beating some knuckle-dragging misanthrope (like a limp-dicked social
misfit whose only pleasure in life is in trying to make himself feel
useful and desirable by spitting on people who are already almost
universally reviled), I am vicariously satisfied through watching
depictions of such acts, whether in documentary form or dramatized, and
would be one of the last people in the world to actually participate in
such activities. I would never accuse someone who enjoys watching "Bum
Fights" of being as morally culpable as the assholes who paid the
desperate homeless junkies to fight, nor would I confuse someone's love
of any form of porn to be a precise indicator of their past, current,
or future sex practices. I am sane. But nevertheless, those who watch
certain forms of pornography are constantly mischaracterized as no
different in any way from those who do the things depicted in the
videos. This is all due to the crusaders given all the heed and
apparently no criticism, probably because the crusaders would
immediately accuse them of being perverts. There is a reason why this
is all called a “witch hunt”. It is no different than Salem or
McCarthyism. No one speaks up for reason and true justice for fear of
being branded a “sympathizer” and therefore by extension, a participant
in evil. The crusaders would have it no other way. They have lost
their perspective and see victory in their cause only in the form of
ruined lives and vengeance, rather than safe kids and loving
relationships. They cry “witch” upon anyone who associates with,
supports, or has similar inclinations to real predators.
Here are some questions these misanthropes never care to ponder:
Is it possible that someone can enjoy vicariously watching someone else
enjoy doing something (as one does when watching porn) without any
interest or desire to participate? No?
Please explain the joy and pride of a parent watching a child sit still
for an immunization shot, ride a pony, recite the alphabet from memory
or, indeed, graduate manga cum laude from an ivy league college.
Please explain the awestruck look on a man's face when his wife or a
woman significant to him gives birth to a baby.
Please explain how a person can enjoy watching a bird hatching from an
egg, later take flight by its own power, or a graceful predator such as
an eagle pursue and take down their prey.
Is it even slightly possible that viewers of pornography can enjoy what
they are watching without themselves possibly participating in it? NO?
Please explain how it is possible for heterosexual men to enjoy
watching a woman masturbate solo or two lesbians having sex. (Or vice
versa, as I know several women who enjoy watching men masturbate or gay
men have sex with each other.)
Please explain how it is possible for quadriplegics to enjoy any form
of pornography (as many do).
Please explain how it is possible for someone to enjoy watching
elephants inserting their trunks into other other elephants' orifices
(which they do, and some people enjoy watching it).
Please explain the very small, but zealous seekers of "vintage porn"
who have that as their highest preference or only turn-on. It is
absolutely impossible to travel back in time to the 1910s, or any other
era in the 1900s for which many people have a particular porn fetish,
to: fuck a flapper, bang a beatnik, give a hummer to a hippie, 69
someone from the 70s, or eat-out an 80s chick, yet if you ask the
people who like such stuff, they'd say, "That's part of the attraction.
Most of these people are now very old or DEAD, but we can still watch
them GET IT ON when they were in their prime!"
Please explain the popularity of "2 girls 1 cup" without a
corresponding epidemic of e-coli infestations from millions of people
eating poop.
These examples are just a few GAPING HOLES in the absurd but
widely-held theory that all people who view pornography (legal or
otherwise) inevitably participate in or are at risk for attempting to
participate in the acts they see performed in the pornography.
These asinine theories have never been properly researched, otherwise
they wouldn't exist. They cannot even truly be called "theories" since
there is no scientific basis for them, only hearsay and prejudicial
guess-work by, as I say, otherwise well-intentioned people who just
want to live in a world where children are not exploited quite so much.
Well..."HERE HERE!", I say! Let's immediately set to work closing
child brothels and imprisoning the scum who run them. Let's reform the
foster care system to ensure kids won't be forced into sex acts by
craven lunatics who are using the kids for ATM MACHINES, PUNCHING BAGS
and SEX TOYS. Let's do away with laws protecting clergy who have
failed miserably policing their own in the Catholic Church and other
religious orders. Let's abolish the practice of building or

bathe. Seriously, kids like to have privacy too. They can always
invite Jerry Sandusky into their stall, if they REALLY have to have

Above all, let's not allow our reverence for public officials or
prominent members of society like entertainers, politicians, police,
leaders of industry, winning sports coaches or civic leaders of any
stripe blind us to these facts:
1. sexual attraction to children is MUCH MORE COMMON than most people
would like to admit
2. it is NOT always an EXCLUSIVE attraction so therefore can manifest
alongside an individuals otherwise "healthy" sexual relationships
3. sexual ABUSE occurs mainly as a result of the taboo in our culture
about sex in general, and the unconscionable perpetuation of ignorance
about sexual matters this taboo creates in adults and ESPECIALLY
CHILDREN
Just like the crusade against Craigslist and other online "classified"
sites which allow ads for prostitution which occasionally can be linked
to underage sex slaves, the LEA and attorneys general around the U.S.
are barking up the wrong trees and ignoring the HELP that these sites
and groups like a.b.j. could be in capturing REAL SEXUAL PREDATORS.
It is a dead give-away to their lack of any REAL concern for children
that they rush to pull the plug on what could be very valuable
resources for stopping real abuse. In the case of usenet groups, we're
talking about a very tiny viewer-to-producer ratio. I can count on one
hand the number of people I've met online who have ever "contributed"
something original or even contributed after the fact by paying money
for it. Internet services like Verizon, Time Warner, Comcast, and
Charter make the money off of ALL porn. Much of the stuff is copied
out of police evidence lockers BY COPS who enjoy their cult status as
"heroes" in these groups. Yes, that's right trolls, many of the people
whom you impotently threaten with LEA reports are actual LEA
themselves. Do you have any idea how difficult/impossible it would be
to prove that someone copied files off of an optical disk, hard drive,
flash memory? Cops do. The cops who copy such things and post them
are intimately familiar with the methods used to track and capture
posters and what methods PROTECT posters. For me, this is actually
something that bugs quite a bit. I don't much like hypocrites.
Rather than demonize and prosecute the media that carry the message,
LEA can partner with the sites that allow such ads for specific,
targeted recon on the ages of participants, leaving adult hookers alone
so they can concentrate on protecting kids or immigrants used as sex
slaves. The usenet groups can be places of contact for LEA to work
with people who download illegal porn of all varieties to gain intel,
and even send messages of concern for those struggling with their urges
to get help. A responsible society would HAVE such help available,
100% free and 100% anonymous for those who need it.
How valuable a resource could usenet kp downloaders be? For one thing,
what would otherwise be traumatizing, soul-searing torture for LEA who
are NOT attracted to children would be like being thrown into the briar
patch for those who are. I can tell you third hand that many a LEA has
been driven to drink and divorce over the depression they feel at
viewing such material. But viewing such material, and viewing it
INTENTLY, sometimes in SLOW-MO and ZOOMING IN can be vary useful in
finding clues as to the identities of participants in this material.
Not out of any intent to contact or stalk him, but just to see what
someone might be able to do from watching a video that I was in, I once
accurately tracked down the address of a fellow participant in a
YouTube video, an out-of-town acquaintance, just from clues I saw in
the video. Using both inductive and deductive reasoning, I combined
the clues in the video with hypotheses and internet searches and was
able to verify the home town, school of attendance, church of
attendance, and exact street address of the "target". If the video
had been of a child, no matter what the child was doing in the video, I
would venture to say I could find them, especially if they appeared in
several videos, had social media accounts, and were in the news or
published bulletins of some sort.
Imagine what useful volunteers, inexhaustible and indefatigable, the
LEA could have if they put away their fears and superstitions and began
working with the viewers of such material, rather than hunting them
down.
However, such is unlikely to ever happen because the war on kp is much
like the phoney war on drugs in its value to political witch hunters.
The same prideful hypocrites, prosecutors who set killers free for plea
bargains but ruin dozens or hundreds of lives to publicly crucify a
lonely man who jerks off at a computer terminal rather than satisfy his
curiosity with "the real thing", often use the presence of drugs or kp
in a persons life as a "panic button" to destroy people on whom they
collect such information secretly and keep in their pocket just in case
they become obstacles for their greed for money or power. J. Edgar
Hoover did things like this. Why would modern day scoundrels like him
not avail themselves of the same power and privilege?

We all know that any use of scare tactics and threats by usenet trolls
are merely pathetic attempts by truly evil people to exercise, rather
than exorcise their inner demons at the expense of others. Just like
the schoolyard bully, they are more to be pitied than feared or hated.
Theirs is as lonely and wayward an existence as any who lives in this
crazy world and
wonders where their place is. Their tragedy is that in their shallow
and twisted minds, they think the world will somehow take notice of
their pettiness and cruelty and think of them as pious avengers of the
innocent, perhaps that children will think of them as heroes to emulate
and be grateful.
Star Trek TNG fans will appreciate this comparison. At the end of the
episode, “Silicon Avatar”, in which scientist, Dr. Kila Marr, a bitter
mother, still grieving from the decades-old untimely death of her son
on Data's “home planet”, kills the alien life form she blames for his
death, even though the alien shows signs of intelligence and reaches
out for the first time to communicate with the human species it long
considered its food, she asks Data, whose artificial mind contains
partial virtual memories of her son and others on that planet, if her
son would be proud of what she has done. Data answers the
self-righteous and self-satisfied woman that, from what he knows of her
son, he would not be proud of her in the least. “He was very proud of
your work as a scientist, but now you have destroyed that. You said
you did it for him, but I do not believe he would have wanted that.
Yes, I think your son would be very sad now. I am sorry, doctor.” The
stupid old bitch goes from a look of hopefulness to cold, flat,
devastation.
The same fate awaits those who, first in the name of protecting the
innocent, actually endanger them or even victimize them, later in the
name of their hatred and desire to see others suffer. What an empty,
pointless existence, born of such a noble, worthy instinct, but
perverted into hate and vengeance for nought.
