Good to see you posting with this access method. It is just as good as the
new one. To use it you have to purposely seek out, download and save files,
and so the troublemakers would be incriminating themselves if they reported
the posts. LEAs can get into any private group they like because they can
buy their way in with the right stuff. People in private groups are prepared
to take risks with one another that they wouldn't do in normal groups, such
as exchange messages through hushmail addresses. Posters and lurkers must be
sure they are not visible, and that nothing can be found if someone comes
knocking. It is only keeping out needy friends to make groups private. It
has been through private groups that LEAs have made arrests. LEAs want to
encourage private groups as long as possible. jimmy's groups have never been
private groups until now.
