Trevor, I say this as someone trying to be a friend. If you are going
to play on Usenet, then you need to get thick skin. It's unfortunate,
but far too many people never learn this and only create chaos and
discord. I think that you have far too many things to contribute and
would hate to see you go that way.
It is a fact of life: when a person has a bad experience with a
salesman, he tells 7 people on average -- warning them; when he or she
has a great experience, he or she tells only 2 people on average.
And you should never forget that there are tons of people here who do
not post any kind of message because they are afraid to. One person
here got over 700 messages from this group in just a few days -- tell
me, have you seen 700 different posters here?
If you want to share, your contributions will be appreciated. Not
necessarily by everyone -- who can please everyone? But certainly by
many who may never let you know.
Personally, I thank you for your kind offer and hope you will
contribute. If nothing else, it will be nice to have another voice and
another friend.
