Stonecutter's notes:
'Well, today we have something super special for REM fans. It's a comp of really rare live clips ,that mostly come from uncut
or raw "news" type footage. Most comes from the MTV archives,there are a few other things mixed in as well. That being said,
this stuff wasn't being shot for a concert film but just to have some good footage on hand for various MTV shows, like The Week
in Rock or one of their in house documentaries.
The down side: some songs aren't complete, sound drops out ,now and then, stuff like that.
The up side: there are some complete songs and I believe this comp has the only pro shot footage of the 1986 tour that seems to
exist in trading circles. For any REM fan,you know,that is extremely hard to come by. Plus,the 1986 Ill footage is truly fantastic
and we get both Superman and Toys in the Attic complete!
It also contains my off the air 1984 master of Solid Gold Hits!
I've been wanting to put this together for years,as I had all this stuff scattered all over ,as it had come in,way back when.
Although it's not perfect,it's some awesome footage in really good quality, don't think any REM fan will be disappointed,in fact I
think you will love it.
So REM fans, get ready for some great stuff.
Huge thanks to my friend (and yours) Yann for working my raw material, into yet another impressive release.
Stay Tuned and Watch the Skies!
Rich'
