I am thankful for my health, which I have come to appreciate more since
some friends have died.
I am thankful for the wisdom of the American people for voting for change.
I am thankful to my family and friends for their love, despite my many
faults.
I am thankful to God for boys, their continued ability to sense my love for
them, and the love they give me, against all reason and against all odds.
Certainly, I am thankful for girls as well. They just don't seem to
gravitate toward me as boys do.
I am thankful for the posters, even the racist ones who make no apology or
explanation for their acts and attitudes. Without the posters, I would
always be wondering "What's going on when I'm not looking?"
Happy Thanksgiving...even to those who are not Americans.
