I sometimes find with Astraweb that if I download soon after
something has been posted all the bits don't come through,
but my newsreader deceives me saying it's all there ready
and waiting - until a parity file reveals the shortfall. The
answer is to delete the parts I have and wait a few hours.
If a download hangs or fails, I delete all the parts already got,
both partial and complete, as well as the headers to the state
where my newsreader knows nothing of the post, then reload
from scratch.
If Newsbin works like Agent, you'll need to "Sample Recent
Headers" rather than the normal "Get New Headers" because
Newsbin will remember that it has already given you them and
the post won't reappear.
This will usually get round a hiccup in your ISP, news provider
or newsreader.
