security risk, on equal pegging as executables (*.exe) and
must include in posts, today.
Just do not do it - upload MS Word files.
The "Why"?
You look around the Net using "exploit" and "Word document"
as search terms and you will soon frighten yourself more
than I could possibly inject here in ABCP with my
attachment, trust me on that.
The attachment shows you what you cannot possibly see
in a Word document without some extra tools and the skills
to decode the output. I have those abilities, so do thousands
of others. Microsoft -- in their efforts to dumbdown computer
tasks -- include all sorts of interesting stuff _about you_
in the Word document output, stuff YOU as the user are
blind to.
You have no activity in ABCP that isn't very "normal" for
Usenet, and none I can see that is in any way "illegal" as
such. That aside, there are those wankers in this world
who will take what they find (in your document) and use it
to harasses you. This has happened in ABCP before today.
And trust me, they were Americans that did the harassing.
You go think about that, Gayle.
Think real hard... before you leap to and play "Blazing Saddles"
with my advice :-/
