Thanks much for the post.

It's not the poster's fault, but the remastered videos are terrible compared to
the original videos.  What the croppers did was enlarge certain part of each
frame then crop around it, so the 'remastered' frame enlarges to fit the aspect
ratio they want, rather than staying with aspect ratio of the original film
stock. Tbeir cropping threw away much valuable original video data.  Even worse,
from now on anyone who reposts the remastered version will continue this lossy
cropping.

I DLd some of the remastered vids, then eventually trashed them, because the
original frames were so much more informative and full of important details.

I can hardly believe someone spent hours and hours and no telling how much money
just to crop out important elements of each and every original frame of film...
makes no sense to me.
