I've known Totty Inspector since about '98. a bunch of usenet players
talked nearly daily, via an early chat program called ICQ. TI LIVED
to feed his ego. Between daily quarts of Jack Daniels, and
ripping/posting new sites as they opened, the slap on the back "Good
show TI" fueled him to go to any length to be the "first".
There's not a chance in hell he'd be posting this 10-12 year old
material. It's all been posted a million times everywhere. For much of
it, TI brought it to usenet in the first place.
Besides.... I believe the Texas DOC lets it's "guests" have limited
access to the web at best. Mostly for legal research and corresponding
with attorneys and "the system". Certainly not a NNTP account for
posting nudey pics of lil girls! LOL! The LS, BD, and similar
russian modeling, is only for the enjoyment of today's n00bs. Many of
the models are today in their 20's, some married, with "totty" of
their own. So enjoy it! :-)
Back in the day, retention on usenet was 3 weeks or so, on the best
ones, and less than 10 days on most . The capacity was miniscule by
today's standard. Most could store less data, than I have now on my
home PC. A single, 2-300GB storage unit in 1998 was a dream for the
future. Ha-Ha!
All it took was chaining through a couple of proxies, your usenet
account, hacked, or bought with "funny money"... often postal money
orders sent by snail mail. If LEA didn't pursue it right away, it was
gone... to downloaders HD's, and quickly off the servers. Remember,
there were 40-50 on-topic groups to choose from. (or more?) A "flood"
of a thousand pics would bump off other posts that might have been
sent only a few days before.
Today's multi-terabyte capacity allotment for a single group is the
reality now. Astra-web is claiming 99% completion for 1434 days.
4 years is WAY too long for anything from me, to float around
cyber-space, there for LEA to stumble across, 3.5 years from now. That
would STILL give him 6 months to hunt for it's origin.

cuffs.
In the majority, today's posters in groups like this are of a few
certain types. The majority are Glory mongers, for whom the risk of
danger is out weighed by his desire for attention and praise. You know
him. 30+, friendless wierdo who rents a room in his mothers basement.
After a hard day at his menial, low-brow job, he retreats to the
basement, where he is master of his BBS board, and all must praise and
obey HIS law.
Next are the total fools who are ignorant to the dangers and
consequences, They come on suddenly, post a ton of old VERY HC
garbage, and then vanish. It's not hard to figure out to where they
vanished... LOL
Lastly, there's REAL Predators who can't NOT be here. He only postsas
a ploy to generate connections to potential victims. VERY FEW around,
with other sources of media to use.
The day of a techno-savvy poster who's not a predator, who simply
likes girly pics, and the "taboo" factor of skirting LEA with tricks
and tools to post them, is mostly over.
He's smart enough to know, he can't be safe on this protocol any more.
